Why do some people often bargain over the cost of almost everything and haggling is seems as a necessary skill to have to save cost in some part of the world. It’s believed without bargaining sellers stand to cheat buyers by adding unnecessary cost to price. But how do you know the bargained price is not the actual price? Well, that’s the reason I think many people would prefer to do window shopping before settling on whom to buy from and at what cost to them.

Haggling often happens physically where sellers and buyers interact but I wonder if this phenomenon would continue to exist in the era of digital marketing and e-commerce where almost everything interaction in happening online and sometimes with machines or robots. Well, I may be wrong. Is haggling or bargaining still taking place around the world?

If this is not happening in some parts of the world could be due to their socioeconomic culture and their purchasing power to buy goods and services just as advertised by the price tags.
